Meet Your Local Team

Sarah Threapleton, Rep

After a long career in marketing, I took voluntary redundancy and whilst looking for new challenges, my attention was caught by a recruitment ad for I was really impressed by the company ethos and excited by the prospect of helping the next generation learn such a vital skill. Being a rep means I can utilise my existing marketing & business skills and also learn new ones, so it’s a win-win!

Liane Katz, Co-Founder of & Rep

Liane is Co-Founder and CEO of She founded because she was determined that her kids should learn to code, especially her then 6 year old daughter. She has 18 years’ experience in digital industries and loves seeing code club children have their lightbulb moment, when they discover they can code anything they can imagine.

Keeta Adams, Tutor

After making some career changes I decided to train as a teaching assistant. I became a home educator to my youngest son and wanted to work flexibly. Mama Codes offered me the opportunity to utilise my skills and work with a diverse group of children. Computer literacy is such an important key skill. Coding is so accessible, builds numeracy, literacy and is lots of fun. In my spare time, I like to work on interior design projects with my family and travel.
