Become a code club tutor. is a dynamic and fast-growing Edtech startup, offering unique, creative coding resources and workshops for children aged 3-8 through popular local term-time code clubs and holiday workshops.

We’re looking for highly motivated, outgoing and organised individuals to train as Tutors in their local area. Applicants must have real practical experience and/or a qualification in teaching or managing groups of young children, as well as in the delivery of a class and/or a curriculum.

They can be from any background, will love teaching children (or have similar experience), can effectively manage groups of 3-8 year old children, and are keen to learn the vital 21st century skill of teaching young children to code creatively.

As a rapidly-growing business, over the last 18 months we have grown to :

  • Over 170 code clubs delivered
  • 11 schools subscribed to our curriculum packs
  • Over 200 parents and 60 teachers trained in the process.

Core responsibilities:

– Reliably leading engaging, fun, high-quality classes

– Preparing for your lesson at least 24 hours in advance (resources supplied by your local Rep)

– Effectively leading a class unsupervised

What we offer:

If you successfully become a Tutor, you will become part of a local pool of lead teachers that your local area Rep will call on to teach the classes they they cannot teach themselves. You will be a self-employed sole trader, who is responsible and accountable for maintaining the extremely high standards of the curriculum, and in exchange you will be paid up to £25/hr for a session. Your local Rep will be your primary contact, and they will supply you the materials and tools you will need to teach your class.

Your teaching hours will be agreed with your local area Rep(s), and we will provide full training in our teaching method and curriculum materials.
