We’re hiring: Train to teach MAMA.codes

Liane and the growing team of local Reps
Help raise #GenerationCode in your community

No application deadline – the next training day is happening soon.
Don’t delay, get in touch

MAMA.codes is growing fast and we are looking for outgoing, highly motivated individuals to help spread our vision of creative, inclusive coding across London (and later nationwide).

Are you interested in training to deliver and promote children’s code clubs in your local area, using our unique and creative materials and marketing templates? No technical or programming experience is required and full training and support is provided – though you must be open to learning new skills and be excited about new technologies.

A teaching background is helpful and you must be organised, reliable and have an excellent manner with children aged 3-8.

There are two ways to get involved – by training up as a local Rep to organise and deliver sessions in your local community, or by training to be a freelance teaching assistant to support the local tutor when required.

As a Rep, the commitment is 2-3 days per week and hours are entirely flexible. Read the MAMA.codes Rep full job description for more details and do share with anyone you think might be interested.

As a freelance teaching assistant, you support our class leaders on an ad hoc basis – some formal or informal teaching or experience is desirable, full training is provided. Read the MAMA.codes Teaching Assistant full job description to learn more.

We are particularly keen to train staff for: Hampstead, Chiswick, Battersea, Wandsworth, Balham, Clapham, Wimbledon, Richmond, East Dulwich, Forest Hill, Crouch End, Islington & Shoreditch and Westminster.

The next training day is mid-January in central London, to be considered for this, please apply by January 5.

Thanks – and we look forward to meeting you!
