Together, we can teach every child to code
We work side by side with nurserues, primary schools and secondary schools to bring coding education to classrooms all over the world.
At MAMA.codes, we are passionate about making coding accessible, creative, and fun for all children. As an award-winning coding school, we support children aged 3–15 in developing essential digital skills through storytelling, creativity, and hands-on learning.
We partner with schools to enhance wraparound care, as well as run bespoke one off sessions for key stages 1, 2 and 3, as well as early years foundation stage (EYFS).To support your wrap around care offer we can run before-school, lunchtime, and after-school coding clubs, giving children a structured, educational, and engaging activity during extended school hours. We also run one off sessions, to cover staff absence, inset days or end of term treats or celebrations.
Our courses and workshops
We offer fun, educational and informative coding courses for 3 — 15 year olds in a range of languages at a variety of levels.
We run courses over a full or half term at breakfast clubs, lunch clubs or after school.
We can also run one-off events, to help with staff cover, childcare on inset days or as end of term treats or celebrations.
Our guide to course by age

- ScratchJr for 5 — 7 year olds, up to 10 week courses
- Scratch for 7 — 11 year olds, up to 10 week courses

How does it work?
How many students can be in 1 class?
We can run classes for a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 16 students (with a tutor and teaching assistant). If the students parents/carers are paying for the class, then the more students that are in each class, the cheaper the per student cost. We have arrangements with some schools where a member of the school staff is a teaching assistant, this helps us increase class capacity and therefore bring the per student cost down.
What technology do we need? Do the students need to have access to computers / laptops / iPads?
Yes, ideally we will use devices at your school and will discuss with your Head of ICT (or other relevant staff member) the set up, depending on what class(es) we are running at your school. A member of the MAMA.codes team will visit your school before the first lesson.
Who are your tutors?
Our expert DBS checked tutors are trained to deliver interactive and engaging workshops, many with experience in teaching students with SEND.
Our prices
The price of our coding clubs or workshops vary and depend on:
- number of students in the class
- the length of the lesson
- whether the school is able to provide teaching assistant support free of charge
- whether the school is able to subsidise the cost of the club to the students
Please reach out to Lauren, our Head of Operations, to discuss your needs and we can put together a plan and price for your school.
